Drakenhold Treasure Maps at a Glance

Drakenhold's maps are dug up at the region's quarry, five of them in total, and the digging itself is the same loop described on our treasure maps overview. You pay with War Funds or a Free Mining Pass and keep at it until a map surfaces. Once you hold one, the quest log points you at the search area and the map supplies the marked location.

The listings below are deliberately uneven because the sources are. Map one has two independent descriptions that place it in different parts of the region, and this page does not choose between them. Maps two through five come from a single guide site and are qualitative: a desert, a coastline, a forest and a set of windmills. Only map one has a recorded reward.

Map 1: Two Descriptions, Both Kept

The IGN walkthrough is specific. Travel to Dreibaum Town, head northwest into the open area next to town, and the treasure sits around the top-middle part of the clearing. The same walkthrough records the payout as 6000g, a Miracle Fruit and the Master's Gauntlets.

The guide site describes the same map as pointing toward the southwestern part of the region, with a path that leads to a small corner of its own. Both are legitimate captures of the same quest, and they share no common landmark that would let this page merge them into one route, so both are printed here. The in-game map marker and quest log stay the tiebreaker if you have to pick a direction to walk first.

Maps 2 to 5: Single-Source Directions

Everything in this list comes from one guide site, in its own descriptive terms. Maps two to five are given without named towns, so treat each line as a search area rather than a destination.

  • Map 2: the large stretch of desert at the bottom of the region, near the rock formations and just northwest of the nearby town, which the source does not name.
  • Map 3: the eastern coastline, at a corner of that particular stretch of coast.
  • Map 4: a thick forest reached by winding paths, with the treasure in a small alcove if you hug the southern line of trees.
  • Map 5: the central part of the region, where a set of three windmills just above the nearby town hides the treasure at the end of the path.

What Is Not in This Capture

Rewards for maps two to five are absent, because only map one has a recorded payout. Town names for maps two to five are absent too, since the guide site says the nearby town without naming it, and this page does not fill that in. There are no coordinates or map squares for any of the five, and nothing captured states whether the order in which maps surface is fixed.

The walkthrough's own series continues past map one, since its footer points at a map two page, but those pages were not retrieved in this batch. That leaves the guide site's directions as the only ones available for the later maps and is the reason this page is shorter than a full listing would be.
