Classes decide what a character can do: their role in a unit, the skills they bring, and what they become after promotion. This hub covers the class system, the combinations players ask about most, and how to read a tier list without treating one player’s ranking as a rule.

The class system

Start with the classes page if you want the vocabulary: what each class is for, how promotion changes it, and which questions to ask before committing a character to a path. It is written to be read before you spend items, not after.

Combinations and rankings

Individual class strength matters less than what a unit does together. The combinations page works through the pairings the captured sources discuss, and explains the reasoning so you can adapt it to your own roster.

On rankings: no official tier list exists. The tier list page reports what a player-made ranking claims, together with its date and its limits, and shows you what to weigh if you would rather judge for yourself.
